Fault News

Strange Matter Studios has been working hard to make sure that Fault's Early Access build is as good as it can be.

Unfortunately, we have faced production setbacks due to the recent global pandemic and we will not be ready for Early Access come May 8th. We are announcing this so close to the deadline because we did everything we could to meet it, and we are very close. Therefore, a new date will be announced in the coming weeks that should be set for around late June/early July.

We simply need more time so we can ensure that the EA build will be ready for a smooth launch and that the game is in a state that players will fall in love with and won’t put down for years to come. A successful EA is crucial to the success of Fault because the game will be judged by eyes outside of the supportive community that has formed here.

As a sign of appreciation for everyone's patience and continued support, we will try to host an alpha weekend as soon as we have a stable build so that you can continue to be a part of the development process. We are sorry for the delay and would like to express our greatest appreciation for all of your understanding. We hope everyone is doing well through these tough times.
