Partnership Code of Conduct

With being accepted as a Partner, SMS grants you a license to publicly display the game on online video streaming websites, such as YouTube and Twitch, and social media, such as Twitter. SMS may terminate or modify the scope of this license at any time without notice or compensation and will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss incurred relating thereto. Below you will find our Code of Conduct that all Partners must abide by or risk facing punishment leading up to and including the aforementioned termination.

Code of Conduct:

1. Partners are expected to be a positive force in the Fault community.

1.1 You are an important part of the wider public knowledge and discussion. This role carries with it a responsibility to be fair, honest and respectful not only toward your fellow members of the community, but also toward yourself.

1.2 We will not tolerate threats. This includes threats of harm to others, threats of swatting, threats of doxing, threats of DDoS and threats of harassment.

1.3 We will not tolerate discriminatory jokes and language, hate speech, or harassment on the basis of sex, race, color, nationality, ethnic or national origin, ancestry, citizenship, religion (or belief, where applicable), age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, genetic information or characteristics (or those of a family member), or any other category protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.

1.4 Your opinion and interpretation of events is important and should be shared but must never be confused with hard facts or data. When voicing your own or someone else’s opinion or interpretation, always state it as such. Never present opinions, interpretations or conjecture as fact.

1.5 You are not to create offensive, derogatory, or sexually explicit content. As a Partner, always keep in mind how your statements may be perceived by others. Even if you intend some words as a joke, there may be players that do not see it as such.

2. Partner Activity

2.1 Partners are expected to be creating original content. Copying and/or plagiarizing another party’s content will result in removal from the partner program. If a content creator ceases to be active for a period of 2 months with out notice provided to a team member the partner may lose its status.

2.2 We understand that sometimes you have life events and/or you might not check in every day, If there’s something that’ll prevent you from being around for a while, let us know and we’ll work it out.
