Greetings Artxbang! Let’s get you introduced to our wonderful community. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi, I’m Frederico Ribas Aka Artxbang, a freelancer living in Portugal.

My usual job is a graphic designer but I’m aspiring to be a full-time concept artist.
I’m a very enthusiastic person and like to meet new people.

Q: When creating new pieces of art and Fault concepts, how do you usually get started? What gets you inspired to keep creating?

Well.. a lot of times I just start sketching, I have a small idea and when drawing, the other ideas come as I draw and I start to build something..my head is full of ideas and I really like to try stuff like combining them, which does not always work out but the process is fun. Artstation is a website full of artworks and great artists and I keep being inspired by what I see there and push myself to be a better artist. I really like to see the Community Vault and ear the ideas of other fellow artists in the community

Q: How did you get into art? How long have you been an artist?

Since I was a child I always liked to draw...copying cartoons like animes or dragon ball, it made me want to continue being better. When I was a teenager I tried graffiti, comics, but what I really want to do for my art was study 2d animation, but the course I wanted didn't have the minimum students so I need to change it to graphic design, which made me draw less(characters, environments..etc.. ). but a few years ago I started drawing more and today I really want to do it. Of course, I'm still working as a graphic designer but I'm making the transition little by little.

I was also a sculptor, I didn’t study, only learn by tutorials on youtube. Still learning.

Q: How did you find out about Fault?

Since paragon died, I kept seeing news and vids about the remakes but the expectation was really low and I knew I would need to wait a long time to play again. When I saw a random dude share a Windu video on Facebook of actual gameplay of a new remake, I said to myself where the hell did SMS came from...this is huge. I saw more vids of Britik and other YouTubers, I was like an archaeologist digging for all I could find about Fault. I returned to my twitch channel because back on the paragon days I started a sculpture channel and I did some heroes and got a lot of views but stopped when the servers went down, I just want to reconnect with the community producing some content.. so I started to do skins of some heroes just for fun on stream, it was that time I was contacted by S.M.S to be part of the team.

Q: Who is your favorite Fault hero and why?

“Narbash is love Narbash is life”. I started to learn how to MOBA with the support role so it was him I mastered. I love the character design they did for him, he’s charismatic, he heals, he likes music, all the same things I like. I love the character so much I did a sculpture of him.

I also like to play on the jungle and it was awesome to roam the jungle with rampage...they were my two mastered heroes in Paragon.

Q: If people wanted to follow your artistic endeavors, where would they find you?

You can follow me on different platforms, I prepared this link to find me in all my different channels: https://linktr.ee/artxbang

Q: Anything you’d want to say to the community while you’re in the spotlight?

Really happy to have this opportunity working with SMS it was kinda life-changing to me to realize I want to do concept art knowing it what makes me happy. I want to learn more to be a better artist. Love you guys for all the feedback and support.
